The Scheduling Module can assist your team as it builds out Schedules based on your Goals and Forecasts. To take advantage of Smart Scheduling, you must first set the SPLH Goals on the Goals tab of the Location record. When these goals have been setup, Smart Scheduling will make recommendations based on these goals.
Set SPLH Goals
Navigate to the Goals tab of the Location record where you will be utilizing Smart Scheduling. Review the existing goal values for Sales and Labor, then update the SPLH goals. Once each value has been set, save the record and return to the Scheduling Module
Smart Scheduling on the Scheduling Calendar
Suggested Hours are based on a Sales Per Labor Goal set on the Location Record. Once the SPLH Goals have been set, Smart Scheduling take the Forecasted Sales for that day and divided by the SPLH Goal for that same day giving the number of hours suggested.
As the schedule is filled out the Actual Hours will update and the variance between the Suggested and Actual Hours will be displayed below the Actual Hours. The value will be displayed as red text when the actual hours exceed the suggestion.
Weekly totals appear on the left side of the Sales & Labor Forecast. These will show Sales, Labor $, Labor %, Labor % vs Goal, Sug Hrs, Act Hrs, and the Difference between Suggested and Actual Hours.
1) Sug Hrs - Suggested Hours. Calculated by dividing Forecasted Daily Sales by SPLH Goals
2) Act Hrs - The Actual Hours on the current Schedule
3) Diff - The difference between the Suggest Hours and Actual Hours. When a negative, text will be displayed in red
